Allan joined Blyth & Blyth in March 2021.

Allan is responsible for all areas of electrical design within the Glasgow Office.

He has over 30 years’ experience in the design and installation of building services electrical engineering projects and has gained considerable experience in the design, installation and maintenance of building services in healthcare, historic, commercial, education, industrial, recreation, residential and retail sector.

Proudest moment at Blyth & Blyth? Or project you were most proud to be involved in?

I was and still am amazed by Robin House in Balloch. I was involved on the whole construction journey from start to finish and whilst there were many challenges on the way the work done there makes all the effort worthwhile.

Favourite building and why?

I have seen a lot of amazing buildings in my travels but the one I was amazed by the first time I saw it and even more amazed when I managed to get inside was Antoni Gaudí’s- Sagrada Família in Barcelona.
