The existing home for the aged was demolished leaving a brownfield site which has sat undeveloped for several years.

The project created two blocks, each providing 16 dwellings over four storeys for the elderly.
To reduce energy consumption, insulation levels and air permeability have been reduced to better current standards. The boilers are high efficiency (SEDBUK A Rated) and hot water is supplemented by flue gas heat recovery.
