staff

Operating from our three offices, we have a current staff complement of 100, highly motivated people. Of this number, approximately 85% are technical based and are actively engaged in project work. We pride ourselves in the quality of our people and believe we have a technical resource, which is second to none in our local marketplaces.

Each of our offices are bright, open plan arrangements with staff of all grades - graduate to director - sharing the same workspaces. In this environment, a spirit of open communication and a sense of involvement is engendered resulting, we think, in better project outcomes.

We believe we have a duty to encourage young people to enter and prosper within the construction industry.

Accordingly, we take a responsible attitude with respect to staff development and operate an accredited graduate training programme. Our graduates have a structured, three-year training period, during which they are mentored and attend courses on the technical, legislative and managerial issues they will encounter as practicing engineers.

Training is of course a continuous exercise and we make provision for all grades of staff to engage in CPD. We do this by means of internal and external seminars,where presentations are given either by our own people or by external companies. Topics include new technologies, health and safety matters, developments in law and these discussions facilitate a general sharing of experience and knowledge throughout the company.
